Church Staff
Rev. Dr. Brad Munroe Pastor
Brad graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and San Francisco Theological Seminary (D.Min.) and loves racquetball, tennis, hiking and all things sports related. Brad is married to Laura and has two teenage children, Chris and Matt.
Rev. Suzanne D’Spain Associate Pastor
Suzanne graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and is a second career pastor, having previously served as a marriage and family therapist (M.Ed.) in Oklahoma. Suzanne’s family includes two grandchildren and she enjoys reading mysteries, exercising, knitting, decorating, relaxing and playing with Mollie, her “people dog.”
Rene Morrissey Youth Director
Rene is one of the only middle-aged youth in Pueblo: “young at heart” does not begin to describe her energy and enthusiasm. Yet, as a mother of two college graduates, Rene’s maturity and experience guide our junior and senior high youth deeper into Christ.
Liz Shoemaker Music Director
Liz is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and has served as a music teacher (voice and piano) or choir director for almost 40 years. Liz commutes from Colorado Springs, where she makes her home with her husband, Dennis.
Gail Ganger Director or Children’s Ministries
Gail is a life long educator who has worked in public schools as well as at churches, both as a paid Director of Children’s Ministries and as an elder overseeing a Christian Education program.
Neal Osborn Organist
Neal is a double Ph.d in Biology, of which subject he is a professor at CSU-Pueblo, and Organ, on which instrument he has served for over 40 years at First Presbyterian.
Lyn Mabey Church Secretary
Lyn is our resident “Brit,” who migrated across the Pond with her husband, Roger, 11 years ago. Questions about what is going on? Ask Lyn first!
Karen Brooks Rhea Financial Secretary/Office Manager
Karen has been at First Presbyterian for eight years and is the person you need to know around here if you want a bill paid, a giving statement or anything else to do with money. Interestingly, Karen majored in biology, not accounting, which may explain her great love for turtles.
Karl Fisher Custodian
Karl is our newest staff at First Presbyterian having come to us from the food service industry where he has owned and/or managed shops for over two decades. Karl is also our "Kitchen Coordinator" responsible for food prep at our Wednesday night Presbybar and other all church gatherings.
