Fellowship Groups
Learning to Live the Way of Jesus
PresbyBar - A catered supper beginning at 5:00 p.m. Wednesdays during the school year with meals available at reasonable prices for adults and children. This fellowship meal makes it easy for the family to participate in the music programs and/or the Wednesday night Bible study. Pastor Brad leads an adult Bible study after Presbybar on Wednesday evenings during the school year.
Dinners for 6 plus - Groups of six people, not necessarily couples, who take turns hosting a potluck supper at their homes. This is a great way to deepen friendships within the congregation.
Active Retired Presbyterians - A monthly meal and program for retirees, meeting the last Tuesday of the month. Times vary with activities. Newcomers are welcome.
Walk to Emmaus - First Presbyterian sponsors Walk to Emmaus retreats, an intensive spiritual development experience, for both men and women. We also have ongoing support groups for Emmaus alumni.
Thursday Morning Men’s Group – This group of men meets at 6:45 a.m. on Thursdays, year round, for coffee, donuts and discussions of current topics.
Saturday Morning Men’s Acts 29 – This group of men meets at 6:45 a.m. on Saturdays, year round. Join with men of the church as they read and discuss scripture.
Men’s Fellowship – This is a group of retirees who meet at Denny’s the 1st Tuesday of every month for lunch and a program.
Sarah Circle – This traditional Presbyterian Women’s circle meets at 9:30 a.m. the third Thursday of each month in members’ homes.
