Southern Colorado Job Seekers (SCJS)

What is the SCJS? The purpose of the SCJS is to provide people in career transition, with free networking contacts, job leads, resources, and knowledge to enhance their job searches. SCJS is a new group organized by several people with significant succsessful experience in job search.

When does the SCJS meet? The meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.  We usually meet downstairs in the "Catacombs" and you are welcome if you are seeking a job because you are without a job, or want a better job, or know someone who is seeking to better themselves.  On the first Tuesday of the month we provide help with job seeking skills such as resumes that get interviews, contacts to hear about jobs before they are posted, and many other valuable bits of information and skills development.

On the third Tuesday we have speakers from various companies in Southeast Colorado, usually Pueblo, who have openings and suggestions for the job seeking process.

Who can join the SCJS? Any job seeker in Southern Colorado is welcome to join.  In order to join, all you need to do is attend our meetings and register.

Is there any charge? There is no charge for these services.  Occasionally we may pass the hat to help defray minor expenses such as copying.  This is an entirely volunteer organization.
