Southern Colorado Job Seekers (SCJS)
What is the SCJS? The purpose of the SCJS is to provide people in career transition, with free networking contacts, job leads, resources, and knowledge to enhance their job seraches. SCJS is a new group organized by several people with significant succsessful experience in job search.
When does the SCJS meet? The inital meeting will be Tuesday, February 16th, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the first and third Tuesdays of the month thereafter. Location is the fellowship hall at First Presbyterian Church, Pueblo. Memebers of the Pueblo Chemical Agent Disposal Pilot Plant (PCAPP) Human Resource Team will be speaking. Their topic will deal with PCAPP job opportunities and how to apply for a job.
Who can join the SCJS? Any job seeker in Southern Colorado is welcome to join. In order to join, all you need to do is attend our meetings and register.
Is there any charge? There is no charge for these services. Occasionally we may pass the hat to help defray minor expenses such as copying. This is an entirely volunteer organization.
